Moroccan Rituals is an editorial archive of Moroccan beauty, wellbeing, and ritual life. We document what the country’s oldest routines actually look like — in bathhouses, in workshops, in kitchens, in family homes — and we do it without spectacle.
Our editorial stance
Morocco has been photographed a great deal. Most of the time, it is photographed at. We try to work the other way around: we let the subject stay the subject. The hammam attendant, the argan cooperative, the herbalist in Fez — these are not backdrops for our writing. They are the writing.
We publish across four territories:
- The Hammam — the bathhouse, its rituals, its rhythms, its social life.
- Botanicals — the plants, oils, waters, and clays that Morocco has used for centuries.
- Ritual Living — the small daily practices that shape the country’s approach to skin, rest, and care.
- Origin & Culture — the histories, geographies, and craft traditions behind what we cover.
Who publishes this
Moroccan Rituals is published by Moroccan Rituals, based in Morocco. Our editorial work is carried out independently of any commercial arm. Where our writing brushes against commercial interests — including related brands owned by the same team — we disclose that clearly. Read our Disclosures and Editorial Standards for the full picture.
